Adventure 1 - Report

The first hut I find gives me gold

The second sailing.

During the initial exploration I quickly met with Peter (Russians) and Isabella (Spanish). Both of them jealously, eyed my lands but I made peace with them for now. I put my second city to the North, by the coast and two resources.

My third city would go the South beside deer and sheep. After discovery of copper I change my mind.

Three cities are plenty enough to go to war, right? First order of business is to help our drunken Russian friend to pack his bags and move over. Look at his starting city. He gets two clamps, gold, stone and wine. I plan to ferry troops using the galley rather than go around.

My swordsmen quickly destroy the defenders and take Moscow. A few turns later they take St. Petersburg.

Isabella is next on my list, but in the mean time I send my galleys to explore, found a religion (Confucianism of all things) and convert Frederick. In 75 BC I gather my forces on Isabella’s borders and declare war.

What do you know, in 50 BC a dangerous group of Barbarians emerge from the northern forests.

I burn Cordoba, capture Madrid and move towards Barcelona. Remember those dangerous barbarians? Not only they managed to raise Hastings, they let Visigoth to be occupied by the Indians!

At least the war with Spain is going well.

After Isabella is no longer with us I focus on science and economy, build wonders and build a ship to find the New World everyone was talking about. Warwick officially becomes the First Colony of the British Empire.

From here I send my brave warriors to spread the British ways among the indigenous population.

On the northern continent I find what’s got to be the largest barbarian city ever: Yayoi, but it can’t stand up to catapults and macemen.

Once the barbarians were conquered its time to think what to do next. I am so far ahead of the two remaining AI, its not even funny, but at the same time I don’t want to wait for the spaceship or the diplomatic victory. That leaves domination or conquest. India will be the first to go, since they have the highest score. I plan to capture three cities that the Indians built in my territory.

At the same time I will land my ‘American Occupational Force’ into the Indian backside. After the India falls it will be Frederick’s turn.

As it turned out the war was not very interesting. My opponents were so backwards they offered little resistance before they folded. This is a picture of the ‘American Occupational Force’ landing.

After conquering India and Germany I win by domination.

The final results: win by Domination in 1760 AD, Final Score: 33927, Game Score: 4761
